One development, infinite usability
A white label app is a generic app that is produced by one company and then rebranded by another company. They are apps with a high degree of standardization, so that little customization is required. The house style of the app can be adjusted per company, but the general functionalities of the app remain the same. The look and feel of the app can therefore be adjusted without a lot of production work being involved, as is the case, for example, when developing completely new apps.
White label techniques are a 'sustainable' development method that saves time and development costs because it is not necessary to build completely new apps all the time.
As white label app developer we have extensive experience in developing this type of app. We build apps with this technology for a wide range of clients, because it is a proven method that leads to more app success. After we have a good picture of the wishes of the client and the target group(s), we start designing and developing the basic app and the associated design.
With a white label app, the strategy phase and the progression is even more important. You develop one basic app, from which you can more easily develop multiple apps. In the long term, this saves considerable costs and development time. In addition, you have a well-thought-out strategy for the applications.
Developing the basis of a white label app often takes a little longer than when we do a regular native, hybrid of web app to develop. This is because we set up the app in such a way that the code and the basis are reusable for several subsequent apps with their own house styles and branding.
As a result, development of successive apps becomes very efficient. We can create native white label apps, but also hybrid white label apps in, for example React native. Want to know more? You can read more about this on this page.
Do you want to create a white label app and are you curious about an example? View the portfolio page of DutchChannels, a client for whom we have built and are still developing several white label apps.
DutchChannels offers video on demand channels aimed at niche audiences. After we have first developed a complex basic app, it is relatively easy to rebrand the app for multiple target groups, goals and channels. For example, we have developed the WithLove app and the New Faith Network app in a short period of time, which are based on the basic app. Both apps topped the charts in the stores on the week of release.
We are currently developing several TV apps for DutchChannels for tvOS, Android TV, WebOS and TizenOS. These are also white label.
We guide our customers from concept to long after release. From applications that make aviation a lot more sustainable to a video On Demand streaming service.
We ask the right critical questions and quickly get to the core. With specialized in-house developers we build the white label app from our head office in Utrecht.
Our team is specialized in developing complex apps with any technique. Native, hybrid, web or blockchain? We can develop and maintain any type of app.

There are several options available when you have a white label app developed. In addition to the fact that we build white label apps in almost any framework or app technique, there are the following options:
1. Whitelabel within an app
An example of white label technology within an app is the app we are developing for Deloitte. Users see the same app, only the style changes based on the user's login. Is the user a KPN customer? Then it will see KPN's house style and logos. Is the user from Capgemini? Then the user will see that house style. The Deloitte apps is a hybrid white label app.
2. A basic app with multiple separate white label apps
This is the case with the aforementioned apps for DutchChannels. After we developed a basic app and determined the styles, we built several apps, each with its own style. These are native white label apps.
3. Single white label apps only
Customers can also choose to leave the development of white label apps to us. This is the case, for example, with the BAGTAG app that we have developed. If there is already an app, we can integrate a white label technique. For example, we integrate the BAGTAG white label solution with airliner apps such as KLM and Lufthansa.
White label applications (also known as white label apps) are ideally suited for organizations that want to better serve their customers with one or more apps and want to grow a company.
Do you want several similar apps, now or in the future? Then a white label app can be a smart solution.
