The MrApption app was an assignment from Re-Ray productions. Their dream was to create a platform where local entrepreneurs could easily communicate with their customers. In this way they wanted to increase their involvement.
MrApption was born! This allows shops and hospitality businesses to attract new customers and reward current customers, making them return more often. This resulted in two apps for two target groups and also a website.
The actions in the MrApption app are called Apptions, in which consumers always receive a discount and there is also the possibility to win a prize. Anyone within a radius of the company can participate in these Apptions. To participate in an Apption you need a credit. Every user receives a free credit every day when they open the app. These credits can also be purchased by users. Other functions of the app:
Opening hours for every day
Every store has its own opening hours, and with MrApption they can set them very easily. As a result, the consumer knows exactly when the store is open and when it is not.
Easily create apps
A company can easily create an Apption by entering only a few details and factors. For example, the radius of the Apption and how many people are allowed to participate.
Mobile payment with iDeal
MrApption's revenue model is selling Apptions to companies. Companies can easily pay Apptions with iDeal because an iDeal payment system is built into the app.
Multiple locations possible
Shops come in all forms, for example as a market stall. There are around 38.000 market stalls in the Netherlands, and they are in a different city or village every day. MrApption is also available for these stalls.
