WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

As the back-end tech lead, you develop and test our apps’ APIs. From small proofs of concept to massive AWS architectures which will serve millions of users. Moreover, you will teach our back-end team skills they can improve and the technologies that we should use. You investigate, test, and advise on AWS possibilities. In addition, you are operationally involved in the implementation and assist the other back-end developers if needed.

HOW WE WORK

As a back-end developer, you will work on a variety of projects within several project groups. A project team typically consists of a Project Manager, front-end engineers, back-end developers, a designer, and a tester. Everyone has their own set of skills and expertise, which we make good use of. On this basis, everyone in the team is committed to achieving success.

Within the back-end team, you will work on both the Hybrid and Native Units, depending on the ongoing projects. At the moment, 40 people work at Coffee IT.

THIS IS YOU

  • You are educated, passionate, and want to use your coding abilities to make a difference.
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in a technical supervisory role.
  • You have an Bachelor+ work and thinking level.
  • You have exceptional work mentality and are eager to collaborate with management.
  • Your number one priority is code quality.
  • You have experience with AWS.
  • You have prior experience with the creation of architectural renderings and can easily visualize them.

We are also using a microservice architecture with RabbitMQ as a message broker. Gitlab CI has been used to test the services (integration tests en code quality).
