HOW WE WORK

As a Tech lead within the backend team, you work on various projects within different project groups. A project team often consists of a Project Manager, front-end engineers, back-end developers, a designer and a tester. After all, everyone has their own talents and expertise and we like to make use of them. In this way, everyone in the team is involved in achieving success.

Within the back-end team you join both the Hybrid and Native Units, depending on the current projects. At the moment, more than 35 colleagues work at Coffee IT.

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

As a back-end tech lead you design, build and test the APIs of our apps. From small PoCs, to mega-scalable architectures on AWS that must be able to handle millions of users. In addition, you determine the course that our back-end team will take, which skills we should develop and which technologies we should use. You research, experiment and advise on the possibilities within AWS. In addition, you are also operationally involved in the implementation and you support the other back-end developers.

DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS

You are driven, passionate and want to use your code skills to make an impact. You have at least 5 years of experience and experience in a technical coordinating role. You have an entrepreneurial work mentality and you like to think along with management.

  • You have a HBO/WO working and thinking level
  • Code quality is your number one
  • You have experience with AWS, preferably substantiated with certificates.
  • You have experience with making architecture decisions and you can visualize them in an understandable way

We also work with a microservice architecture and RabbitMQ as a message broker. The services are tested via Gitlab CI (integration tests and code quality)
