The purpose of Roompot is to give the end users the best experience and provide them with a carefree holiday. They discovered that the check-in process could be more efficient. How? Digitize the entire process using a user-friendly app
Through a IoT solution we make this dream come true. Visitors manage the cottage from booking to check-out thanks to a digital key. This allows visitors to enter the cottage directly upon arrival without first having to go to reception.
To provide the best performance, the IoT application has been developed with native technology. The app uses a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) connection with the lock. The data is encrypted in such a way that the user's safety is guaranteed. Coffee IT was also responsible for developing the SDK. This makes the technology easy to integrate within the company's own app. Koole Controlsis the party responsible for the smart locks.
The Roompot Digital Key app ensures fewer contact moments, ultimate ease of use and more efficiency for the cleaning team. The visitor no longer has to go to the reception.

The feeling of security is important with something as personal as access to your holiday home. That's why the app has a custom protocol UX built-in so that users experience extra safety. The door is unlocked with a finger on the 'unlock' button, after which a green hover with vibration function is activated.
The holiday can start at the push of a button. Easy onboarding with the reservation number and PIN code sent to the specified email address. The Roompot Digital Key is Roompot's first step in integrating Smart Home technologies into the holiday park.
