De Lerende Ambtenaar is a web based education platform for government professionals. Knowledge sharing is central in this unique digital learning environment. Government professionals can further develop themselves with master classes, theme sessions (video or audio-only) and open intervisions.

This digital learning environment is fully customized and built from the needs of the inquisitive civil servant. This makes it easy to share knowledge with other civil servants and the theme sessions can also be listened to as audio-only.

De Lerende Ambtenaar is a web-app , developed with React. The front-end is responsive so that it functions correctly on every screen. In addition, it is one Progressive Web App. This ensures that virtually the entire front end loads instantly, so navigation feels fast and smooth. The back-end is written with Node.JS and has a micro-service architecture. In other words: the digital learning environment is ready for millions of users.
